"We believe that Egypt has much to offer tourists & golf enthusiasts, and this event is the perfect demonstration of a world – class international golfing event. At PHD, we have long believed in Egypt’s potential as a golfing destination, and have taken steps to strengthen this image internationally by developing our own international-standard courses,” said Sherif Seif el Nasr Senior Vice President of Marketing & Sales.
Held at the JW Marriott, the competition will further cement Egypt’s up and coming position as a leading international Golf Destination, a reputation that owes much to the work of the Egyptian Golf Federation and the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism. Egypt already has a number of internationally acclaimed golf courses, including the Jack Nicklaus-designed course in PHD’s flagship compound, Palm Hills October, the first 27-hole golf course in Egypt, which also includes the 5 star deluxe Ritz Carlton-managed Hotel & Clubhouse. Palm Hills Developments is currently developing an 18-hole Sanford designed course at Hacienda Bay, PHD’s North Coast destination. |
